5.SHAHJAHAN(1627-1658): Sahajahan real name
was KHURRAM.He became the ruler of
delhi in 1627.
Shahjahan got married with “Arjumand Bano Begum(Mumtaz)”
He give the title of “MALIKAYE JAMANE” to Mumtaz.
He bring his capital from
Agra at the bank of Yamuna River in Delhi and established SAHAJAHANABAD.
BUILD
Shahjahan build “MAYUR SIHASAN” with the help of Badal Kha
He builds “TAJMAHAL” in the memory of mumtaj
He also builds:-
LAL QUILA, JAMA MASJID OF DELHI, AGRA MOTI MASJID,
NOTE: The Jama Majid of Agra was
build by Shahjahan’s Daughter “JHAHAN AARAA”
In 1658 Aurangjeb arrest his
father Shahjahan and in 1666 Shahjahan died.
The tomb of Shahjahan is in
Agra.
