6.AURANGJEB(1658-1707): Aurangjeb was a very
cruel ruler. In 1658 he become the ruler of delhi after arrest his father
Shahjahan.
Pir Md Hakim
was the teacher of Aurangjeb.
He is also known as Zinda Peer. In 1665, he ordered to
destroy many hindu temples like SOMNATH
TEMPLE,BANARAS’S VISHWANATH TEMPLE, KESAVRAI TEMPLE.
He Prohbites the Holi.
In 1666 he arrest Shivaji in Jaipur bhavan.
In 1679 he again started JAJIYA TAX.
In 1675 he killed Sikh’s
Ninth “Guru Shri Guru Teg Bahadur.”
He build “BIWI KA MAQBARA.”
In 1707 he died. The tomb of
Aurangjeb is in “AURANGABAD.”
