4.JAHANGIR(1605-1627):Jahangir
was very optimist ruler. His nick name was Salim.In
1605 he became the king of Delhi. He got his first marriage with Bhagwaan
Singh’s Daughter “MAAN BAI.”
Maan Bai give the birth to KHUSRO
Jahangir give the title of SHAH BEGAM to his 1st wife Maan Bai.
In 1586 Salim got 2nd Marriage with JAGAT GOSAI. In 1592S she gives birth
to KHURAM who is known as SHAHJAHAN.
The reign of Jahangir is known as “The Age of Painting.” “USTAD MANSUR” and “ABDUL HASAN” was two Painter during
Jahangir reign.
During the reign of Jahangir, “Captain Hawkins” and “Sir
Tomas Ro” came in india.
In 1606 the elder song of Jahangir KHUSRU start protest against him. In that case the fifth guru of sikh
religion “SHRI GURU ARJUN DEV”
help khusru. After that Jahangir hanged Shri Arjun Dev Singh.
After that Jahangir again got marriage with Meher-Un-Nisha and give her title of “PADSHAH BEGUM.” She is also known as “NOOR JAHAN

VALLE” came during his reign
He made judiciary
system that is known as ZANZIR-E-ADAL(Chain
of Justice) at Agra.
In 1627 Jahangir died. The tomb of Jhangir is in Lahore
